There are very few fashion debates more contentious than whether it is ok to wear Ugg boots. You either love em or hate em. Years ago I got the very tall side-zippered version that are slimmer through the leg. Being tall helps when wearing Uggs because there is no doubt that they have a rather large profile and are bulky.
I can’t tell you how many articles I have read proclaiming that Uggs are over and would never be worn by anyone with a shred of fashion sense. And yet, I continue to see them on the street being worn by girls who clearly have style, and celebrities wear them all over LA.
I gave my mom and dad each a pair years ago when they were first claimed by Oprah as one of her favorite things. They still thank me because few things rival Uggs in terms of comfort, except maybe Crocs - and that’s a whole separate topic, isn’t it?

I am with you, Uggs are stylish, and most definitely in this season. How can people not love them, they are comfortable, warm, and stylish. The perfect winter accessory I say, no matter where you live:)

Oooo.. hate to be controversial - I’m a hater!! I think they are a the top of a slippery slope towards comfort-wear in general. It’s all too easy to rely on comfy shoes and clothes!! (Or maybe that’s just me?? lol) And besides, here in the UK they have massive chav connotations so people assume you’re either a footballer’s wife (not ideal!) or a wannabe footballer’s wife!
