Baby it’s cold outside…

by editor on November 3, 2008

Damn you global warming , my toes are freezing! Having taken over the responsibility of walking a yappy bundle of fluff this weekend, this lanky editor had to spend more time that usual in the blustery cold, wet weather. The footwear of choice was a pair of a battered old wellies that usually only come out when festival season calls for something mud proof.
Stomping through London with a dog that resembled a drowned rat, gave the perfect opportunity to pause for thought and ponder how long the winter lasts on this little island the Amazona team call home. England being a country that prides itself on raining 360 days of the year; our summers are more like a break in the clouds rather than season. It looks like we’d all better settle in for another long, cold winter. Now that the sopping wet fur ball has been safety returned to his owners, this editor will happily be watching the winter unfold from the comfort of her sofa with a steaming mug of tea.

How do you survive the chilly British Winter?
